Built Around the Hobby

Zashii is simply a place for me to share and document my sports card collection.

I’ve collected cards on and off over the years, and like most collections, mine is constantly changing. New cards come in, collecting interests change, some cards stay and occasionally others move on to make room — or help fund — the next addition.

Zashii gives me somewhere to bring all of that together.

The Collection

My main interests are football and baseball, although I’m not limiting the collection to any particular sport.

I’m particularly drawn to autographs, low-numbered cards, rookies, game-used memorabilia and cards that simply catch my attention. Some are valuable, some aren’t. Some are bought because I think a player has potential, while others are here simply because I wanted them in the collection.

That’s really what Zashii is about — curating a collection rather than building an inventory.

The cards shown here aren’t necessarily for sale. Most are simply part of my collection. From time to time I may decide to sell or trade something as the collection evolves, and I’m always interested in hearing from other collectors about potential trades or cards that might fit.

Following the Hobby

I also want Zashii to be somewhere I can document the collecting side of the hobby.

I’ll share new additions, cards I’m looking for, interesting finds, purchases and trades, card shows I visit, players I’m following and my thoughts on particular cards and sets.

There’ll naturally be plenty of football and baseball, but if I find something interesting from another sport, there’s every chance it’ll appear here too.

I’m not trying to build the biggest collection, complete every set or collect every player.

I’m just looking for cards I enjoy owning and, over time, making the collection better.
